SYNOPSIS
For as long as humans have kept records we have believed in myth, in legend, in magic, in some beautiful vision of what is to come. We live for happiness, for the people we love, for status and power, for conscience and justice, for an afterlife and for immortality.
Then science granted the wish on our behalf. When did we forget how hard Orpheus had to work to move the lord of the underworld before he could bring Eurydice back? When did death become a rare thing — longed for, but not dared?
Once the wish is granted, what does life still have left for us?

I have played both. Journey to the West is very strategic — my first board game with a board and cards like this. The Gate of Fortune is wildly imaginative; a small staged scene would make it even better ~ looking forward to whatever comes next 🎲
